Rip or Ship it book tag

I know I've been quite absent lately and that's only due to the fact is that school is keeping me busy and my internet had been down also so I couldn't blog at all so I had to live in the stone age for a while.

Plus lately I've been looking at book tags and I thought this was cool to do and I've been in the mood to do book tags and this tag was made by emmmabooks.

All you have to do in this tag is to get names from books, put them in a jar and pick two and decide if you rip or ship it.

Since I'm too lazy to get out paper and pen, I randomized names of characters with a generator on the internet so let's get started!

Dimitri Belikov (Vampire Academy series)
Captain Thorne (The Lunar Chronicles)

This is a weird combination don't you think? Captain Thorne is a bit like Rose since they're both hilarious and resourceful and I can picture Dimitri rolling his eyes and smiling every time Thorne says something stupid. So I'm going to have to...

SHIP IT!

Aiden St. Delphi (The Covenant series)
Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles)

Okay this combo is weird also because Aiden seems like the nurturing and clingy type of guy when Cinder is more of a I-ain't-got-type-for-cuddling-I-need-to-go-save-the-world type of girl and she is nothing like Alexandria and Aiden isn't like Kai. So I'm going to have to..

RIP IT

Alexandria Andros (The Covenant series)
Percy Jackson (The Percy Jackson series)

I don't see neither of them as a couple but I can definitely see them as friends and fighting monsters together! I can also see them bickering and calling them each other names. So I'm going to have to...

SHIP IT

as friends...

Annabeth Chase (The Percy Jackson series)
Warner (Shatter me series)

YES!!! I SHIP THIS!!!!!!
The romance will be too cute and I can see Warner being intimidated and impressed by Annabeth and I can see her damaging his ego! This is definitely like Draco and Hermione!

SHIP IT!!!!

Leo Valdez (The Heroes of Olympus series)
Juliette Ferrars (Shatter Me series)

This is like shipping Juliette with Kenji since Kenji and Leo are alike but like Kenji and Juliette I would only ship them as friends. I can definitely see Leo being impressed by her super strength and making weapons for her.

SHIP IT

as friends...

Ash (Iron Fey series)
Adelina (The Young Elites series)

She's too crazy for Ash and I can see her backstabbing him to get what she wants.
Adelina is crazy yo.

RIP IT

Roth (The Dark Elements series)
Nico Di Angelo (The Percy Jackson series)

Dude rip it for sure...I don't see them as a couple, comrades, or even friends. I can see Nico being very annoyed of Roth anyways.

RIP IT

Kenji (The Shatter Me series)
Solara Brooks (The Starflight series)

I really don't see them as a couple but most definitely friends since they're both resourceful and smart.

SHIP IT

as friends...

Rose Hathaway (The Vampire Academy series)
Hermione Granger (Harry Potter series)

Dude I most definitely ship this. Hermione is almost like Dimitri anyways since they both like to follow the rules and stay out of trouble and you know Rose is trouble. Plus they'll be so bad ass together!!!

SHIP IT!!

This was a really fun tag to do, pairing characters with other characters. I tag everyone and should do this because it's interesting to think about who should be with who!

Getting Sorted to my Hogwarts House!

Hello everyone! So, on pottermore a couple days ago, I decided to sign up to find out what's my Hogwarts house! Shockingly, I got sorted into...

..........

HUFFLEPUFF!!!!!

I was completely appaulled because I don't consider myself a Hufflepuff... I always thought they were the goody-toe shoes house and were like the lame kids. So I always thought of myself as Gryffindor or a Ravenclaw like the most of you book weirdos!

So I did something completely insane during school.

I took the Sorting Hat quiz twelve times.

TWELVE TIMES!

No person in there right mind would do that but I wanted to make sure was I truly a Hufflepuff and that this wasn't just some fluke. So I collected data of which house I got each time I finished the quiz and shockingly, I ended up being a Hufflepuff!

Hufflepuff-5
Ravenclaw-4
Gryffindor-2
Slytherin-1

On my eleventh try, I got a tie between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and on that twelfth shot, the Hufflepuff house broke the tie breaker.

I couldn't believe I got Slytherin once because even though there were different questions each time, I still had the same answers and sometimes I would change whenever I get second thoughts but mostly they were all the time.

So this wraps up my crazy experiment of finding out if I'm truly a Hufflepuff and the data confirms so. I advise everyone to go to Pottermore.com and find out what your house is too!

Intergalactic Book Tag!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've made a blog post but I have been getting bad internet lately but now that it's fixed I can blog all the post I want now! During my Stone Age time with no internet, I've read I think two books and one of them I have recently finished and will post a review later this week is called Starflight by Melissa Landers and I absolutely enjoyed it! I've seen some booktubers doing this tag and I thought, "This looks fun, I should do it too!"

1. Space: Name a book that is out of this world – that takes place in a world different from our own.

20821111

This world that Adelina lives in, is cray.

2. Black Hole: Name a book that completely sucked you in.

9680718

I read the whole Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout in December and I honestly couldn't stop reading it and it completely sucked me into this story

3. Lightspeed: Name a book you are anticipating so much that you wish you could travel at lightspeed to get to it.

25558608

I really need this book because the way that first one ended was not enough for me. I need this book. I need this book right now.

4. Nebula: Name a book with a beautiful cover.

19370304

I wanted to pick a book from my TBR from Goodreads and I recently added The Smell of Other People's House's and I thought the sky looked so gorgeous!

5. Multiverse: Name a companion set or spinoff series you love.

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1)

Is this series considered a spinoff?

. Gravity: Name your favorite romantic pairing that seems to have gravitational pull to each other.

In case you didn't know, Dimitri and Rose from the Vampire Academy series are basically the OTP of my life. I love them and they're perfect for each other and I can never get enough of either of them.

You know your OTP is really your OTP if  you don't even ship the male interest with yourself and instead ship him with the female character. That's love right there guys.

Rose and Dimitri.

My loves.

(And also in case you didn't and haven't been on my blog long enough, I have always pictured Rose as a younger Sandra Bullock and Dimitri as Orlando Bloom.)

7. The Big Bang: Name the book that got you started on reading.

Marked (House of Night #1)

Oh Marked.

This series will always have a special place in my heart.

Even though the series is pointlessly dragging and is horrible now.

8. Asteroid: Name a short story or novella that you love.

18052136

I don't read much novellas but the one I remember the most that I read and enjoyed was In Time by Alexandra Bracken and this book broke me.

9. Galaxy: Name a book with multiple POVs.

13206900

This crazy series probably has like eight different POVs.

10. Spaceship: Name a book title that would be a great name for a spaceship.

8685612

I think The Iron Queen has a nice ring to me.

I also need to reread this series.

Well that's all today folks. I enjoyed doing this book tag and tag everyone else to do so! My Starflight book review will be coming soon!

TTT: Ten Historical Settings You'd Love To See In Books {5}

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Historical Settings You'd Love to See

I don't read much historical fiction because some haven't interest me lately since I mostly find books set in the Victorian era and I was never interested in that time. I was mostly interested ancient history times mostly in the continents of Africa and Asia because I always found the history fascinating.

Greece

I wish there were some more books set in ancient Greece where everyone believed in gods and goddesses and people went on quest. It would be nice to read a retelling of The Odyssey or the retelling of Heracles or some hero. We need some more books set in ancient Greece!

Ancient Rome

Why aren't there any books set in Ancient Rome? It's more military-like than Ancient Greece and more strict. I think it would be an awesome read! I know the book An Ember in the Ashes was based on Anicent Rome!

Ancient Egypt

How can you not want to read about Ancient Egypt? I always thought the pyramids were so cool and the Sphinx! I love reading about Egyptian mythology and culture! MORE BOOKS SET IN EGYPT PLEASE!!

Aztec Empire and Mayan Empire

In case you guys don't know, this is basically ancient Mexico. PLEASE PLEAS PLEASE SOMEONE MAKE A BOOK BASED ON THIS HISTORY!!

China

MULAN RETELLING ASAP! LIKE AS IN NOW!!!!!

Japan

SAMURAIS HELL YEAH!!!

BOOKS WITH DINOSAURS PLEASE BECAUSE DINOSAURS WERE PART OF HISTORY!!

New York in 1920s

OMG I love reading about the 1920s when it was the golden age and jazz was introduced and flappers! I always thought this time looked so fun for everyone!

I know it's not ten but I couldn't think of anymore I wanted besides those. Anyways, please someone, anyone, write a book or something based on those time periods because I WILL READ THEM!
