Makeup Book Tag!

I've been seeing this around in the bookish community so I thought, "I love books and I love make so why not!" it but each question I answer I will add a product I use and a picture of myself wearing it!

This tag was created by Beth Anne on youtube but I will be doing the version by Trina from Between the Chapters from Youtube.

Primer: A book that left a lasting impression

15507958

I would like to go with Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I hardly reach for these types of books because those books make me sad and this book truly did that and probably even scarred me a little. So yeah this book made a very lasting impression.

For primer I will be using The Pore Professional Primer

Foundation: Your favorite first book in a series.

9284655

I have so many favorite first books in a series but I will go with Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. I will say it's not the most perfect first book, it does have some flaws but this book will always have a special place in my fangirling heart.

For Foundation I will be putting on Maybelline Fit Me in Dewy and I will be applying it with a damp beauty blender

Concealer: A character you'd like to erase.

14061955

Freaking Mal OMG! He annoyed me so much in Siege and Storm! He wouldn't let Alina be a total badass and he was so whiny and I just wish he would just go away. Plus I shipped Alina with The Darkling or Nikolai but noooooooo there's freaking Mal always there!! UGH I just want him gone.

For a concealer I actually color correct under my eyes and around my eyebrows and I use Rimmel Hide the Blemish and I use it on my eyelids and under eye bags from all the reading and spazzing I do at night. I also blend  this out with a damp beauty blender.

Brows: A book you think everyone should read.

13372690

Everyone in their life should read slammed. It's a book about poetry and it's so heartbreaking yet heartwarming. I actually think everyone should read Colleen Hoover books.

For eyebrows, I use the HD lifting concealer so highlight around my eyebrows and I have no idea what I use for my eyebrows because a friend gave me this eyebrow kit and I just use a regular eyeliner to lightly trace around my eyebrows. I know I'm clueless.

Highlight: A book that brightened your day.

Anything by Rick Riordan or the Chronicles of Nick series by Sherrilyn Kenyon because they're both amazing and make me happy.

For highlight I will use a liquid and will use the ELF HD lifting concealer again and highlight

Wow I just noticed I didn't blend well on my forehead... good going Cayla way to be a professional.

Contour: A book you got a deep meaning out of

17623975

A book that comes to might is Just One Day. I already used Me Before You but I learned from reading this book was to have fun and do what YOU want and not what anyone else tells you to do because life is too short.

For contour I actually use a liquid contour and I use the LA Girl Pro concealer in Mahogany

Powder: Your favorite last book in a series.

6527740

I haven't read any good last books lately but the one that comes to mind immediately is Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead. You guys know I love me some Rose and Dimitri and them in this book !!!! I just can't...

For powder I'm using the ELF setting powder and I only set on my highlight areas.

After I bake for a while I wipe off the powder with a powder foundation.

Eyeshadow: A book with your favorite color on the cover.

 18180495

I just love the color red and I thought this cover looked so badass and cool. It makes me want to read Vicious all over again.

For eyeshadow I use NYC Lovatives by Demi. I just picked it up because I needed a good nude palette to start with.

Eyeliner: A dark and mysterious book.

20821111

I wouldn't say it's a mysterious book but I would most definitely say it's a very dark book and Adelina is crazy yet a true badass in this book.

For eyeliner I am using a Gel by Wet N' Wild because I had liquid liners and my forgetful self forgot to get a picture of it so here's me with liner hehehehhe

Mascara: A loooooooong book.

 1162543

This still reigns supreme ruler of the longest book on my bookshelf.

For mascara I use this mascara I have no idea where it's from because the label is gone so it's just some black container.

Blush: A book with a cringe-worthy romance.

17927395

Tamlin and Feyre in this book makes me flinch and uncomfortable because Tamlin wasn't the Tamlin I sort of crushed on in ACTOR but here he just makes me sick.

For blush I use Milani Rose blush which I love!

Lipstick: Your favorite book kiss.

4556058

Annabeth and Percy underwater scene was just too cute! Percabeth is just perfect guys.

For lipstick I will use Colour Are & B

And there you have it. The final look and pretty much my everyday makeup look. I'm probably going to change up most of my makeup items because as you can see, I didn't know some of the products I was using.

Thanks guys and happy reading!!

May, June, and July Wrap up!

You may now call me, the crappiest book reviewer of all time but I did read some good books these past few months and honey let me tell you!

6050298730420315507958

Okay the first two books I read were Dreamfever and Shadowfever by Karin Marie Moning, the fourth and fifth book in the Fever series. I must admit I don't remember very much about these two books but I remember enjoying them a lot and spazzing over Mac and Barrons. All I want is Barrons to admit his love for Mac. That's all that my huge fangirl heart wants. The last book I read in May was Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. This book. Broke. Me. Down. I will be making a mini review of this sometime soon but guys, this book is so good yet so sad. I gave Me Before You and Dreamfever five stars and Shadowfever four stars.

202996831734275018774729

After all the craziness of high school finally ended and graduation, I finished Rat Queens, Vol. 1: Sass & Sorcery by Kurtis J. Wiebe. Graphic novels aren't really my thing since they can be short but I really enjoyed Rat Queens and had fun reading this graphic novel. Next book I read was Soldier by Julie Kagawa, which is the third book in the Talon series. The only thing that kept me going in this book was Garrett, my perfect soldier. Then after reading Solider, I just needed a nice, cute, and short contemporary book because that ending WRECKED me and I just needed something easy to get into without hurting my feelings so I read Love, Lies, and Lemon Pies by Katy Cannon. It was something I needed. Something quick, short, and fun to read. I have rated all these books four stars.

2301287725063750

The final two books I read in June were Rat Queens, Vol. 2: The Far Reaching Tentacles of N'rygoth and Did I Mention I Love You? by Estelle Maskame. I rated Rat Queens Vol. 2 a four star read. Did I Mention I love you? was a five star read and guys, I will be doing a mini review on this also because this book was awesome.

I am so proud of myself for reading five books in June.

but wait until you see what I read in July!

157243962330808425203675

The first book I finished in July was The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. You guys I loved this book so much! I will also be doing a mini review on this book also because I had so much fun reading this like all the Rick Riordan books. Next book I read was The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh. You guys. I love Khalid and Shazi so much like so so so much. Their relationship is every and they're one of my top OTPs! I will be doing a mini series review of this too. After I read that, I was in the mood for some more middle eastern based books which I adore, so I picked up The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi. This book was really pretty to read since it had such vivid descriptions but I was let down because I had high expectations for this book because it was based on Indian mythology and had Hades and Persephone elements (which I'm a HUGE sucker for). I gave book the Sword of Summer and The Rose and the Dagger five stars and The Star-Touched Queen three stars.

287910882607418526252859

I felt so overwhelmed with all the fantasy I read and I thought it was time for another cute quick book so I picked up Adorkable by Cookie O'Gorman. I had so much fun reading this and it was indeed something I needed and the title was just like the book, adorkable. Next book I read was Ruined by Amy Tintera. I didn't know I was craving a revenge story until I read Ruined and I have to say I really really enjoyed this book and I CAN NOT wait for the second book in this series. I will be doing a mini review for this book. The next book I read was The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan! OOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMGGGGGG GUYS I LOVE THIS BOOK! I ADORE APOLLO SO MUCH!!!! I will be doing a mini review of this soon also because I have so much to say about this book!!!

2951951417927395

The next book I read was Broken Prince by Erin Watt, the second book in The Royals trilogy. As soon as this came out, I read this book. I finished it in one day and I am ready. I don't know what I'm ready for but I am just ready because that ENDING. THAT PLOT TWIST. The last and maybe not the final book I read in July was, A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.
Yall.
This book.
SJM did her thing when she wrote this book because yall....

I am probably going to have to do a mini review of that also filled with gif because that book was THE SHIT AND I LOVED IT OMG.

I was on a roll in July and I am so happy that I finished eight books in July. EIGHT BOOKS YOU GUYS!!!! It's been so long since I read that many books and I'm proud of myself. I will be doing a total of six mini-reviews and 2 book series reviews.

Thanks guys and happy reading!
