Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't
To be honest, there's a lot of 2015 book releases that I wanted to get to but didn't because of these reasons:
- I forgot about the book
- So much hype that it makes me not want to read it
- The rating and reviews makes me not want to read it either
- School >:(
I know most of those reasons are stupid since I shouldn't care about what others think because maybe the book that everyone hate, I'll love. So I'l list the books that I meant to get into and HOPEFULLY I will because there were a lot of interesting books and I'll also give the reasons why my lazy ass didn't read it.
Illuminae by Amie Kaufmen and Jay Kristoff
Okay! The reason I haven't been reading this book was because I wanted the actual book since I mostly read ebooks and I heard the cover was so pretty and the audiobook was so cool so I bought those two and I have them now so get ready for my review of Illuminae soon!
The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan
I have absolutely no idea why I haven't started this book since I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Rick Riordan and his Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympians series so I don't even understand it myself on why I haven't even start this book yet. Plus I don't like his hair! That long blonde hair makes me annoyed for some reason.
The Rose Society by Marie Lu
I actually started this but I only read probably 10% of the book then completely forgot about it but I NEED TO PICK IT BACK UP because there's stuff I really want to know in this book and questions I need answers to.
Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Hermon
I wanted to read this because it was a story about Alexander the Great and I never read a book about him so I was really excited about this book and even Christine from PolandBananasbooks read it and she enjoyed it! Also the average rating on goodeads is currently a 3.69 which also makes me not want to read it but I will read this soon!
Winter by Marissa Meyers
THE ONLY REASON IS BECAUSE THE BOOK IS FREAKING 800 PAGES! THAT MAKES ME INTIMIDATED
Hold Me Like a Breath by Tiffany Schmidt
Again the ratings on Goodreads made me not want to read this anymore but the synopsis sounds so cool but I will get to this book soon!
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
It's just the hype over this book that's making me not want to/want to read it. Plus I started a little bit of it and I was confused but I'll start it up again soon.
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE V.E. SCHWAB WRITING AND HER BOOK, VICIOUS, but I have no idea why I haven't started this book. I'm gonna blame it on the hype again since everyone loves it.
Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Again I have no idea why I haven't started on this book since I loved the first book The Diviners but I shall get to this soon.
The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough
I read about 2% of this book and completely forgot about it but I want to start reading it since the synopsis sounds so good and it looks like it's going to be sad and cute so I want to read it.
I know my reasons for not starting on these books are completely stupid but I will read these books sometime in the future!
We have many in common... last year there were so many awesome books it was impossible to read all :/ superb list!
